The present participle (as in ‘drinking’) is formed by replacing the infinitive -ön with -öl:

  • drinön, drinöl ‘to drink’, ‘drinking’
  • lilön, lilöl ‘to hear’, ‘hearing’
  • spikön, spiköl ‘to speak’, ‘speaking’
