To form the pluperfect (I had -ed), remove -ön from the infinitive and prefix i- to the beginning. Finally, add the necessary person pronoun to the end.

• Iremobs bovüli tieda ‘we had bought a cup of tea’
• Ilabof toodis tel ‘she had two cars’
• Ilükolkömons-li? ‘Had they arrived?’
