Here are the most common ways to greet in Hungarian for each time of day:
- “Good morning!” = Jó reggelt kívánok! / Jó reggelt!
- “Good day!” = Jó napot kívánok! / Jó napot!
- “Good evening!” = Jó estét kívánok! / Jó estét!
- “Good night!” = Jó éjszakát kívánok! / Jó éjszakát! or Jó éjt!
- “Goodbye!” (Until the next time we see each other.) = Viszontlátásra! or Viszlát!
