What is the traditional Basque breakfast?
Just after getting up, the Basques can, for example, drink coffee, cocoa or orange juice and eat pastries or toast.
People who get up early only have a drink when they wake up and eat at around 11:00 (fruits, sandwiches).
Breakfast is called "Amaiketako". (Almuerzo in Spanish).
