In Romanian, there are different types of conjunctions, such as coordinating conjunctions, subordinating conjunctions, and correlative conjunctions. In this lesson, we will focus on the most basic conjunctions which include and, or, but, and because.

== Coordinating Conjunctions ==

Coordinating conjunctions are conjunctions that can join elements of equal importance in a sentence. The Romanian language has seven coordinating conjunctions, but we will focus on the ones that are considered the most basic.
