Yes/no questions are questions that can be answered with either "yes" or "no". To form a yes/no question in Burmese, you need to add the particle ဘူး (bhu) at the end of the sentence. For example:

* သင်တန်းတွေကိုချစ်လိုပါသလား? (Do you understand the lessons?)

To answer this question, you can say either ဟုတ်ကဲ့ (yes) or မဟုတ်ဘူး (no).
