The Subject pronouns take the place of a noun and function as the subject of a sentence but in arabic they are frequently dropped and you can only tell who subject is from the verb conjugation except in the equational (verbless) sentences like &lt;br /&gt;
I'm tired = أنا تعبان &lt;br /&gt;
I'm from morocco = أنا من المغرب &lt;br /&gt;
In arabic there are 13 subject pronouns&lt;br /&gt;
I = انا = an&lt;br /&gt;
