You’ve still got a lot of mountain to climb; this is true. But this does not mean that the summit is not worth reaching. If you’ve arrived at the plateau, you can certainly overcome it. And if you can overcome the plateau, then you have what it takes to reach the peak of the language learning success. I know this because I’ve done it. Not once, but many times, across a dozen languages.
