It wouldn’t take me 6 years to fix these mistakes (considering I’m an adult with decades of experience using some language already). So why should we keep claiming children are so much better language learners if the reason to bring the point up is to discourage adult learners? I say that we should encourage everyone. Encourage children to use their advantages, and I’ll try to encourage (with this blog) adults to use their many advantages.

Non mi ci vorrebbero 6 anni per correggere questi errori (tenendo presente che sono un adulto con decenni di esperienza che usa già diverse lingue). Dunque perchè dovremmo continuare a dire che i bambini sono tanto meglio nell'apprendimento linguistico se il motivo di fare questa considerazione è scoraggiare gli adulti che ne stanno imparando? Dico che dovremmo incoraggiare tutti. Incoraggiare i bambini a usare i loro vantaggi, e incoraggiare (io ci proverò con questo blog) gli adulti a utilizzare i loro innumerevoli vantaggi.
