English phrase to TRANSLATE:
Marco explains that Chinese introduces breaks in certain positions in a sentence. These breaks, which I represent by the symbol “/”, give one a sort of guideline on how to pronounce a Chinese sentence, other than the tones. It is part of the ‘Phonetic Analysis’, an approach to pronunciation and pitch which I use to teach languages to my students (via Skype and face to face)

1) Finally, after having learned how to listen, you have to simply… start listening! Do this at least half an hour a day, preferably an hour, and when you are ready, try to spend even more time on this activity. It is key to speaking native-like Chinese. Starts with audio AND the corresponding script.
Quality at the beginning followed by quantity at a later stage is a great way to reach an excellent pronunciation!

O Marco explica que o Chinês introduz quebras em certos lugares numa frase. Estas quebras, que eu represento pelo símbolo “/”, dão-nos uma espécie de guia de como pronunciar uma frase em Chinês, em vez das entoações. Isto faz parte da "Análise Fonética", uma abordagem à pronúncia e à melodia que eu uso para ensinar idiomas aos meus alunos (via Skype ou pessoalmente).

1)Por fim, depois de ter aprendido a ouvir, tens de simplesmente.... começar a ouvir! Fá-lo, pelo menos, meia hora por dia, de preferência uma hora. E, quando estejas pronto, tenta fazê-lo por ainda mais tempo. É crucial para falar Chinês como um nativo. Começa pelo audio e pela legenda correspondente.
Qualidade no começo seguida de quantidade numa fase mais avançada é uma ótima maneira de alcançar uma pronúncia excelente!
