Translate & vote - from English to Nederlands

English phrase to TRANSLATE:
The idea was borne out of the fact that visitors in the village/town/city where you live do not always have the opportunity to learn about/meet the natives.
By volunteering your natural knowledge about your country, your place, your language and your people, you will help them forge a better idea and stronger ties with you and your peers.
By doing so, you will extend your network of friends, learn and practice foreign languages, and work towards a better understanding across cultures.
