I have worked as a Chinese, Japanese translator, and speak fairly fluent Thai and Spanish. Have also studied Vietnamese, Cambodian, Hindi, Korean, and do pretty good in Cantonese. Would like to improve my Russian, which I studied for 2 years and can hardly speak. Have lived in Japan for 49 years, working as a Japanese stand up comic for 8 of those, and have given lectures in Chinese in Taiwan and Mainland China.
