Hello, 你好, こんにちは. I'm Becca. I am from London, UK, but my husband and I are always travelling. Over the next few years we will be spending a lot of time in Asia, so I wanted to try and learn new languages. I've started to learn Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese via the Duolino and Busuu apps. If anyone is on those and wants to be friends, let me know! Even if you're not a Japanese or Chinese speaker, feel free to say hi anyway, I'm still happy to have conversations with you in English to help your practice, and you can never have too many friends right? My interests include: Music (mostly rock but I like a bit of everything.) I hear music is a great way to learn languages so any recommendations for Chinese and Japanese artists would be great) Travelling, of course Cooking & Nutrition Watching way too much TV Reading. I read a lot of British classics (Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, Dracula, Frankenstein, Daphne du Maurier etc). I have seen that there are a lot of great books from Chinese and Japanese literature and would love recommendations on where to start!
