I was born and raised in the USA on the East Coast, near the city of Boston. I was taught French at a young age by my father and raised semi-bilingual, but unfortunately as I grew older I stopped speaking French as I lost opportunities to practice in everyday life. My speaking skills declined; my ability to read and write in French all but vanished. Now, I'm determined to regain my French skill and become fluent in the language so I can communicate with a larger portion of our world! I am using an app called Duolingo, making a solid effort to speak French with my father more often, and looking to find others to practice communicating with in the language.
