Language acquisition is fascinating. I am of Irish heritage, have unfinished business with French from schooldays, wanted to live in Germany and have a son who is fluent in German, my partner speaks Tagalog. I have plans to learn Hindi, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Arabic and if I ever get there; Japanese. In my dreams I enter a phone booth and emerge as Superglot! In reality I am a teacher and musician.
