I am very interested in the field of neurotechnology. There are a bunch of amazing American start-ups, such as Neuralink, Neurable which conduct research in the field of Brain-Computer Interfaces. Learning a new language, enables you to dive deeper into a foreign country. Each time there is a new facet, a new perspective you will be exposed to and this is why I love studying foreign languages.
