I was born and raised in Kazakhstan in a Russian-speaking family. Not surprisingly, Russian is my native language. I'm an English translator by education. My hobby and passion is learning languages. I'm quite fluent in English and pretty good in German but I'd still like to improve them. I've also been learning Danish for 3 years now mostly on my own and would like to practice it with someone. I don't remember when I started to learn French but I've been learning it on and off for quite a while and I have to admit I have more trouble with it than with the Germanic languages. I hardly ever speak French with anyone but I really want to improve it. Other languages that are on my wish list include Norwegian, Polish and Finnish. I only had a brief introduction into them so I'm at a very early stage. Other than languages, I like watching YouTube (overwhelmingly vlog channels, pranks, and polyglots from different countries). I also play with computer programming sometimes (PHP, Javascript, Python). I would like to hear from anyone who wants some cooperation in learning Russian in exchange for the languages mentioned above.
