About
I speak Arabic, French, English and Persian....but I would like to continue learning Russian. Every language is unique. I learned Arabic from home and improved it from the Quran. I had to learn French at a young age. French made it easy for me to learn English, and Arabic made it easy to learn Persian. Now I dream in all four languages. I had taken Russian classed long ago, but never continued. Learning Russian was a different experience since I knew no previous Slavic languages.
I think polyglots have their unique psychological and personality traits. I can switch modes, mix up words, think in one language and speak in another, adapt to different cultures. But I feel left out and misunderstood among homogeneous groups, like in my own country. It is not always easy, especially when your own parents speak only one or two languages. It is a very interesting reality worth studying and researching.
