Hello, I'm Scott! I'm fascinated by not just specific languages but also the universal infrastructure underlying all human communication. I know that sounds dreadfully dull and tedious, but once you really investigate, you come to understand some of the most profound characteristics that unite and bind all of humanity. Now that I'm done with the deep stuff, I'll just say that I love discussing anything language-related. I've studied various aspects of the following languages/families--Romance, Celtic, Slavic, Turkic, Tagalog, Japanese, Sanskrit, Arabic, etc. This website requires a limited list of languages to learn, but I'd love to discuss any of the world's 7,000+ while I can certainly teach English to anyone interested.
