I am a 50 year-old woman from the United States. I have recently discovered my father was of Portuguese descent. His family came from the island of Azores, off the coast of Portugal. I am thinking about learning the language (European Portuguese) in hopes of one day traveling there. I am currently having time management issues but once I figure things out, I’m going to be putting in more effort to learn.
