Historian

Hi, i'm Rand. I've taught English in Asia over 15 years , (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong) and now Beautiful Thailand. I'm looking for language exhange friends to assist me in learning the Thai alphabet and then move into vocab and creating sentences. i understand language acquisition so you needn't be an actual teacher; i just need some help to build a good foundation: pronunciation and tones. I can speak a mid-level Mandarin fluently, but haven't spoken it in 8 years so want to have a chat friend. I also want to learn and practice my Hanzi; currently i know about 800 characters. Most importantly I want to make friends with some fellow linguists and have fun learning. see you in the future !
