I have been fascinated with languages since I was a young boy. I can say hello in a few languages (Gaelic, German, French, Sicilian Italian, Spanish, Russian, Czechoslovakian, Mandarin.) I learned the Cyrllic *Russian* alphabet when I was a kid and still can read it. I did study Russian from books but never really became conversant. I still remember some of the words. I met a lady from Russia at the YMCA a couple of months ago and her accent got me interested in pursuing Russian again. I’m trying to use DuoLingo which is something though somewhat unsatisfactory. Hoping to get someone to help me as a complete beginner. Almost.
