how do you say"he wanted him to open his bag" in arabic

 hello polyglots!

The arabic structure is really tough and it confuses me a lot,and that i feel really stuck.

i know how to say "what do you want me to do"(ما تريد ان اعمل) or (ماذا تريد مني أن أفعل) correct those if they are wrong

but when i wanted to say "he wanted him to open his bag" i realized that something is really confusing is here because  it gose like this (اراد ان فتح حقيبته) and it actually means that he wanted to open his bag thats not what i intedted to say.my question what word or particle can imply the sentence"he wanted him to do something.

'He wanted him to open his bag' would be :

Kâna yurîdu minhu an yaftaha haqîbatahu.
(if it is a lasting desire for a given time period)

Or, with a different meaning, it will be translated into:

Arâda minhu an yaftaha haqîbatahu
(= Talaba minhu ... - He demanded that he opens his bag)
, because in English, when you say 'He wanted him to do sth' this could mean 'He demanded, he asked him to do so'.

well. in the first sentence "what do you want me to do" = (ماذا تريدني أن أفعل)
(ماذا تريد أن أفعل ) is not correct
the object pronoun here is "me" and the object pronoun in arabic that equals "me" is "نى " so you want me = تريدني
another example of this case " do you love me" = (هل أنت تحبنى )

in the second sentence it is also related to the object pronouns
"he wanted him to open his bag" = ( هو أراده أن يفتح حقيبته) or ( هو أراد منه أن يفتح حقيبته)
first of all this sentence is in the past tense and the object pronoun here is "him" and the object pronoun in arabic which equals "him" is " ـه " or " منه" then ..
"wanted him" = ( أراده) or (أراد منه)

(أراد أن فتح حقيبه) doesn't make sense

the second verb in sentence " open" is matched to the object pronoun "him"
and it's the same rule in arabic so we can never say "فتح" with the "أراده" but the correct form of verb has to change according to the subject or the pronoun and also the tense of sentence,

if the sentence was like this "he wanted me to open his bag" .your translation in arabic "أراد أن فتح حقيبته" even thought it's incorrect but with some additions it would be the correct one

"he wanted me to open his bag" = هو أرادنى أن أفتح حقيبته"

    first off, the sentence you wrote about " he wanted him to open his bag" ( هو أراد منه أن يفتح حقيبته) as you say above tenses of the verbs has to be overlaped. my confusion is that أراد is in past form and you write "to open" in present tense.for instance the sentence هو أرادنى أن أفتح حقيبته" he wanted me(أرادنى) is in past form,however أفتح i open is in present formed.doesn't is have to be i opened?
